ISLANDS OFF ATTICA, Aegina. Circa 525-480 BC. Triobol or Hemidrachm (Silver, 11 mm, 2.95 g). Sea turtle seen from above. Rev. Incuse square of 'Union Jack' pattern with five incuse and three raised segments. HGC 6, 44 var. Meadows Group IIa. SNG Copenhagen 504. SNG Lockett 1962. Very rare. Darkly toned. Slightly granular and with a few light marks on the reverse, otherwise, good fine.
